Pleasing Me Endlessly

By Professor Michael Itungwa Shukrani

At every dawn that comes
At midday, when the sun is at its zenith
And at each twilight that hums
Your pleasance cries out to be plumper than any megalith

A few days have just passed
When you and I savoured blissful hours
You asked me, with chubby trust
How you could please me more than all flowers

As on the very day, which marks my mind blatantly
I insist once more time
That through your respect, love and beauty, which I want greatly
You please me ceaselessly to the paradigm

Lo! I have kept you sundry gifts to ignite your pleasures
Admire this house looking so sumptuous
Where you find food, furniture, clothes and other gems
Which I offer you, for you are virtuous

By the pep of your respect that is never late
You perform such beautiful deeds
That my joys are of plump weight
To the point that my gratitude tactfully proceeds

Through your body beauty that glows so hot
You excite me with immensity
To the extent that I love you a lot
And think to keep you with sharp continuity

As long as your love for me is enough
You speak to me with thorough respect
And take care of me with fidelity that remains tough
Such that all my sorrows are siringly wrecked

Beauty without respect is nothing but a rotten rat
Whose putrid stench can be smelt from miles away
For its misfortunes afflict more than tooth decay can bat
To the point that love flees through an easy gateway

Beauty without love is more disgustful than any spit
For it waters betrayal, pride and lust
Nurturing the tree of vices which justice casts into a deep pit
At the risk of strangling all trust

In your choir of pleasance that owes me songs
Many a singer must be so diligent
Beauty, respect and love must sing in unison with bounty prongs
For that fills me with plump delights at each moment

Habari nzuri leo!
