From the first day
As her charms caught me as a prey
I thought of wooing her on the way
In the light of her humour on display
Through her walloping bravery she chose to lay
I ask myself a question and say:
Are we far from the lake of love or nay?
As I am happy and mesmerised to see her this twilight
Hopefully, I gaze at her as she marks my sight
Her pleasance surpassing pears in height
Being with her is more enjoyable than a fair shining bright
To the point that my admirations manifest with might
Here is a trustworthy question to write:
Are we far from the lake of love tonight?
‘I like you!’ she said to me frankly
By exhibiting her beauty widely
And exposing her charms heavily
Which deserve to be applauded loudly
While my compliments are shaking vigorously
Here hangs a question to ask to Paradise lovers openly:
Are we far this noon from the lake of love so lovely?
As her charms are shrieking
She complains that she starving
To hinder her from fading and wailing
I show myself charitable and helping
She takes my money gift by smiling
Here stands a question that abstains from fleeing:
Are we far from the lake of love seeming everlasting?
While I am happy to perceive her presence
Happy is she to see my attendance
And she is glad at my hand’s moving with convenience
For to her, none of my traits causes nuisance
Especially because she saw me providing within her preference
Thus here is a duty question to ask in one sentence:
Are we far from the lake of love showing transcendence?
While we are the two of us
My eyes suddenly meet hers without any sluice
She smiles at me with no fuss
And she enjoys it as a game on a happy bus
In the meantime my admiration glows as a shining huss
Now here is a tying question which arises thus:
Are we far from the lake of love hollow with a plus?
Here is a breeze patting me a tender kiss
Her skirt flips up while she feels bliss
Her bright thighs venture to loudly hiss
Which would plunge all men in Ephesus into dazing fliss
Yet, she wants this scene to please me like this
Thus, here is a question to ask even to Katanga people with whiss:
Are we far from the lake of love too big for the abyss?
Armed with her humongous beauty
She is seated beside me with serenity
My hand accidentally visits her breast good at enticing felicity
My panic threatens with thorns of cruelty
Now, here is a question to ask with intrepidity:
Are we far from the lake of love pleasing and fruity?
Near me she moves to and fro
I thought she did it to make useless furrow
Yet, she says her tastes and mine kiss in the same barrow
At times, she walks past me with no bra as an alluring crow
As she does it daily without sorrow
Here is a question to ask even to the schoolboys in this borough:
Are we far from the lake of love whose relishes outgrow?
When she is alone, she calls me in
That I join her chin
That our enjoyments be akin
That I declare the splendour of her skin
Sometimes forgetting doing the washing-up with blatant win
Now, here shrieks a question to ask through thick and thin:
Are we far from the lake of love calling again with grin?
In Lubumbashi, formerly called Elisabethville,
Her zeal for me are in an everlasting drill
She watches the pictures of me with torrid will
For she thinks that my face makes her hopes stand still
Her thirst for me abounds in her as the Nile would fill
Thus, here is a serious question to spill:
Are we far from the lake of love with a daunting skill?
Habari nzuri leo!
